I’ve been blogging for a very short time, around 3 months or so. It has become a hobby of sorts. I love trying to find new things to capture with my camera and share with everyone out there. Some days are so hum drum and ordinary. However I have been enjoying, browsing through blog land for quit a while. One day, when I had a little time to surf the net I accidentally found the blog world by searching for pictures of Shabby Chic Homes and anything pink. I’ve been HOOKED ever since. I truly enjoy all the blogs about decorating, bargain hunting and the making of a warm life though the eyes of my fellow bloggers. I seldom leave comments but on occasion I have felt lead to leave a “Thank You” for a wonderful journey.
I myself don’t receive many comments as will, but look forward to checking everyday to see if any one has left one. It’s kind of like the tooth fairy. I recently posted a movie from youtube.com that I found on a fellow bloggers page {sorry, can’t remember who}that I thought would be really nice to share. However not every one liked it. That’s okay; I realize that people form all over the world surf just I do, however I didn’t think someone would take the time out of their day just to be rude. I look forward to reading any comments that it was hurtful to read a comment that was anything but nice and it was left anonymously at that. I understand that my blog may not be of any interest to some people and it may even be boring to some but please just move on, because this is a big world and I’m sure there is something that won’t put you to sleep. I believe in the saying “If you don’t have anything nice to say don’t say anything at all.” Especially if you don’t have the gust to put your name on it!

DECKING THE HALLS
I wounder where Moms gold fish went?
I love this picture because in the back ground , you can see the sheets drying in the warm December sun.
Everywhere I looked there was signs of Christmas
The kids started early on the games and of course, there was a hole lota silliness going on
I loved all of my fabulous gifts, but honestly one of my most treasured is form my dear Sister, Yvette, even filled this beautiful apothecary jar with peppermints and a pretty peppermint bow
It is a tradition in our family to end the evening with a Bon fire and fire works
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year from our family to yours

PART 2 OF THE NEVER ENDING DAY
After returning home, the work began. Donnie and I had a lot of stuff to get together for Church and Christmas with our son tomorrow. I did a little straightening up and got the Banana Bread in the oven while Donnie worked on the Candied Pecans. Donnie and I nibbled on some supper while I managed to get the rest of the wrapping finished. All the church clothes are ironed and ready for our mad rush in the morning. OH, I mustn’t forget about Donnie’s Famous Home Made Pig in the Blankets. Will I know I’m forgetting something but it will just have to wait. I hope you have blessed evening and charmed Sunday.

GETTING READY FOR THE CANDY PECANS
SORRY, I DON'T HAVE THE RECIPE FOR THESE CANDY PECANS BECAUSE IT'S DONNIE'S SECRET.
Well that's a wrap friend's. Just think there is still 3 more days until Christmas.
Part 1 Pre-Christmas Feast
I hope you all had a charmed day. This day has been wonderfully full; it almost felt like three days in one. It started with a quick shopping trip with my parent on the way to my Great Aunt City’s and Uncle Boots’s home for a Pre-Christmas Feast. My Dad dropped Mom and Myself off at JCPenny’s, while He waited in the car. I guess he thought that would make us spend less. Hehe Mom and I can cover a lot of area in a little time.
I know that three days before Christmas is not exactly the time to be shopping for myself BUT , there was a sale on purse’s and I have been having withdrawals. I picked up this fabulous bag for Me Me Me.
This bag is as big as a dippar bag
At 20 something this would make a good dippar bag , but at 40 something , I hate to say it but it still makes a good dippar bag or depends bag. hehehe
After a little shopping we made a few more stops and off to Aunties we went. Here are a few pictures of our Pre-Christmas feast.
Yvette and Uncle Boots
Mom and Aunt Joy
The kiddos played out side in the dirt with their toys while we had coffee inside.
Will friends, there will be a part 2 to this post because like I said this day was very full of pre-Christmas activities.

Happy Monday
Hope all of you had a full week end, full of cooking, baking, and of course Christmas shopping. I know my week end was pretty predictive. I got a little of all the above done and I finally got my hair cut. No! it looks nothing like the picture I showed my stylist, but at least I wont have to put it up in a pony tale for a while. Today is our 24th wedding anniversary; we are planning to have a nice quite dinner at home. I’ve baked Donnie’s favorite cake {plain chocolate with no icing} and all the side dishes are ready. All that’s left to do is to grill the stakes.
I’ve been enjoying all the beautiful blogs out there in blog land. Everyone has their Christmas homes displayed and cheerful music playing. It has helped me stay on track this year with getting the Christmas stuff out. We are moving this year and our home is on the market, so I didn’t bring all my Christmas stuff out for display. It’s been kind of nice, not having to put everything out but at the same time I feel kind of sad. To think that this well be our last Christmas in the home our boys grow up in makes me feel blue.
Here are a few more pictures of the Christmas spirit in our home.
