Boot Camp and Hamburgers

Boy do my buns hurt…

I mean really….
Yesterdays work out with Kim knocked me off my feet. I can barely set on the potty without crying out with pain. I’m really thankful I had a day of rest today before enduring another hour of Kim’s Boot Camp…
Now I get why they call it Boot Camp and totally understand why they call it a Medicine Ball. After throwing the Medicine Ball while simultaneously doing setups with a partner… you need a lot of Medicine to get though the next few days. I hurt in places I didn’t know still worked. Hick I hurt in places I didn’t know I had. Anyway all this working out has really made me hungry for real food so… for lunch yesterday I wanted a real hamburger not one of those Mickey D things with half the bun to cut the carbs. I wanted a homemade burger with bread.

Just hold off…before you start giving me a hard time I used this wonderful bread

it has only 70 calories for 2 slices and 17 g. of carbs….It is very tasty … much better than the other diet bread…I also used only 4 oz if lean ground beef and flatten it with wax paper.

 YUM!!!!

A real homemade hamburger. I froze 6 meat patties so I can just pull them out of the freezer when ever I want a fast burger.
I know ….
Your wondering are those baked chips? …. NO
some things just cannot be skimped on. But that’s all I had and they where darn good. Yes I will be ready and able for Boot Camp tomorrow morning.

I did … I really did it…. I made it though my first day of Boot Camp.

Wow I feel really good about myself….

I wonder how I will feel tomorrow.

I decided to do a 3 day a week work out for 6 weeks and walk on my own the other 2 days a week.

I am making this a commitment to myself but it can’t hurt to announce it to my fellow bloggers.

I made a resolution of losing 20 lbs this year and getting into the best shape ever.

Here I go…I have been praying about my journey to the best me ever and God has open doors for me to begin my journey. I don’t want to wait until November to start working on the dreaded 20 lbs.

So here I am.

Here is a link to the Boot Camp I going too

Kim Bubela is my trainer and she Rocks. She has a kind voice but at the same time she encourages me to reach my limits

Kim Bubela

Personal Trainer

Kim Bubela earned a Bachelors of Science in Kinesiology from the University of North Texas in 2003 and is an ACE Certified Personal Trainer. Beyond her outstanding credential, what really makes Kim a great trainer is her experience, love, and interest for physical fitness and sports that began at a very young age. As a child, Kim found gymnastics as an effective outlet for her energy, and she was a competitive gymnast for 10 years. Kim then went on to cheer for the University of North Texas. She was a gymnastics and cheerleading coach at Achiever’s Gymnastics for 6 years before moving to Austin in 2004.

Kim has been training in sCULPture Boot Camps since 2006 and loves to challenge and push people to their highest potential, while maintaining focus on specific goals and needs. While training clients, Kim especially loves to incorporate many of the exercises that had her in the tip top shape as a gymnast. With knowledge and past experiences in sports and exercise, Kim is able to modify any exercise to meet the needs of individuals. Watching clients alter their bodies to new levels of fitness, reach their goals, and hear them speak proudly of their accomplishments is fun for all; however, knowing that she was a leading factor in other’s success stories is what Kim hopes and strives for as a personal trainer.

Kim is the sister of Amy Culp of sCULPture Nutrition and Fitness, LLC. She is married to Chip Bubela and they have one beautiful daughter, Ava.

It's Time To Tot My Horn

I think I have earned the right to brag....
It has taken me a while but I finely can see a differance....
I have gone from a size 12 to a size 6 ....

yes I said 6.....
Yes... you can hate me.....
I would hate me ..

if I were the same girl I was 12 weeks ago.....

I feel great....
I have 15 lbs to go

I don’t know what’s up with me but I’m not my usual blogging self. I have been  uninspired and uninterested in posting lately. I can’t seem to find anything that seems blog worthy.
I know one thing for sure…
I spend way too much time
farming on face book.
I think I’m hooked. I have two really good books to read and plenty around the house to keep me busy.

I should be working on our 2009 taxes and going though all kinds of paper work but noooooo. I set at the computer planting crops and picking eggs. I need to find a cure to my madness.

I’m leaving this Friday for a full week at POC. There are piles of clothes to go though and box after box of stored items to decided upon weather to keep... sell or donated.
My dear friend Kim from
http://vintagemehemmedinprayer.blogspot.com/
will be joining me on Tuesday, we haven’t decided what we will spend our time doing. We could craft... scrapbook.....bible study.... watch movies.....read.... even fit in some much needed beauty sleep.....you know those long awaited three hour naps we used to take when vacations where what they were meant to be. I have lots of yard work to do and I really need to get the rental ready for the spring vacationers. That doesn’t sound like rest and relaxation to me but just getting it done will be a relief. Bad news is, I have internet there and I hope I can limit my time on the farm. I would ask Kim to be my facebook monitor but she is addicted to her crackberry and I don’t know how much help we will be to each other.

Any way here are some random pictures for your viewing pleasure. I know most of you do not read my blog any way. I’m guilty of this as well, I have my usual places I love to visit and most times I just browse throw the pictures to see if I really want to read the store behind them. Later friends and hopefully I will be inspired after my vacation in Port O’Conner.

Blessed
Julia
